The beta will begin whenever Trion decides it is time for Defiance to go into that stage. Trion Worlds is wanting to give Defiance a 2012 release date, and has stated that they should be starting the Defiance beta soon.     You need to get the kinks out of the game before you ever start the broadcast version. I the game has problems, you will lose tons of viewers of the TV portion. You need to get the game up ASAP to build the player base.
